Exceptional Teacher of KS1 required to join our exciting growing school Full-Time

Wootton Park School is seeking to appoint an inspirational full time Teacher of KS1 to join our current talented team from April 2018. Whilst the role is initially for maternity cover, the position is available as a permanent position due to the growing needs of our school. This role is therefore permanent and will be required to teach Year 1 learners for the remainder of the 2017/18 academic year and have the ability to teach Year 2 in the 2018/19 academic year onwards.

Inspirational full time Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our current talented Primary EYFS team from March 2018 (to be negotiated).

Whilst the role is initially for maternity cover, the position has the potential to be permanent for the suitable candidate and may later be required to support in Reception and flexibly across KS1 at the end of the initial maternity cover.

Under the direction of the SENCo, the Learning Development Department (LDD) aims to increase whole-school and community awareness of the importance of quality and equality of opportunity for all students, regardless of ability or disability. We believe that the circumstances and environment in which a child learns can have a direct influence on their success.

The position will focus on working with learners with a range of learning, social and emotional needs and will require the candidate to work with colleagues and learners in a variety of curriculum areas. The role will involve working within whole classes, with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to develop effective learning, promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being, and encourage independence.
